ABOUT
The Conference
The International Conference on Petroleum Phase Behavior and Fouling (PetroPhase) is the premiere international meeting where industrial and academic researchers meet to discuss the latest findings in:
- Fluid Characterization
- Flow Assurance
- Upgrading and Fouling
- Energy Systems Integration
- Hydrogen and Renewables
- Decarbonization and Carbon Removal
- Emulsion and Produced Water Management
As the 23rd International PetroPhase Conference returns to the heart of the energy industry in Houston, Texas in 2023, we take pleasure in welcoming all the delegates. The PetroPhase Conference has traditionally brought specialists, industry leaders and subject matter experts to discuss the chemistry and properties of petroleum fluids and their impact on flow assurance, upgrading, and fouling from conventional and unconventional resources. As the energy industry renews its focus on climate change and future technologies, we are also including sessions on hydrogen and renewable energy, decarbonization and energy integration. The focus of these new topics will still be in the subject area of the main PetroPhase theme of fluid properties, phase behavior and fouling.
Founded in 1999, this international conference has been held in various locations across the globe with the participation of more than 200 professionals and students in each event. These events were sponsored by numerous industries and organizations.
